Kids with ice creams
Overview
The task was to organise a town center event to celebrate Yorkshire Day with just a four-week lead time.
The client requested a variety of elements, including stalls, an outdoor cinema, a brass band, fairground rides, event management, planning, and road closures.
Delivery
The Yorkshire Day celebrations were successfully executed, featuring a selection of stalls, a pop-up bar, an outdoor cinema, giant inflatable slides, a “hook a duck” game, a town crier, a brass band performance, and a giant teapot trail for children, where participants received free ice cream.
The event was promoted through various channels, including outdoor banners, flyers distributed to residents, posters in shop windows, a press release, and social media advertising.
Results
The event attracted over 2,000 attendees who enjoyed the day’s activities.
We distributed over 123 ice creams to children participating in the teapot trail.
The event received local press coverage across multiple publications, and 17 stalls participated, all providing positive feedback.
The social media reach on Facebook alone totaled 2,993.
