Overview

Twisted events was provided with a fabulous opportunity to organise the Christmas Light Switch on for Morley Town Council. The event objective was to drive visitors into the town, through creating a vibrant and festive day/night out. 

Delivery

To help deliver this project we organised a street, packed with festive stalls, food and drink, fair ground rides, plus a giant stage with local performers entertaining the crowd, as well as Danny Mylo from Pulse Radio to host. 

We organised all of the advertising, including print and social media.

We worked with local suppliers including Community TM, Addictive Audio, First Plus Medical, Two Seven Eight Photography and True Security Security to help with logistics on the day. 

Results

The event attracted over 2000 visitors across the day.

Press coverage included coverage by YEP and Leeds Inspired. 

In the 28 Days run up to the event Facebook saw an organic reach of 28.1k. 200 link clinks and paid for advertising achieved a reach of 1.5K.

We received some wonderful anecdotal feedback from lots of Morley Councillors and stall holders.
